ISO9001 Certification

The Role of the Implementation of ISO9001

1. Strengthen the quality management, improve enterprise efficiency, enhance customer confidence and expand market share
ISO9000 Quality System Certification Bodies are authority institutions who have achieved the accreditation of the national accreditation agency and shall do strict audit to enterprises. For enterprise inside, it is a good way to meet the requirements of the rule of law and the science, to greatly improve work efficiency and product eligibility rates, to rapidly increase business economic and social benefits by following the international standardization quality management system. In addition, for the enterprise outside, customers want to sign supply contracts with the enterprises that have passed the certification of ISO9000 Quality System and have the ability to produce quality products. In this way, the market share of the enterprise is expanded. In a word, both sides gain profit.

2. Gain international trade “Pass Card”, eliminate international trade barrier
Many countries set a variety of trade barriers in order to protect their own interests, including tariff and non-tariff barriers. Non-tariff barriers mainly mean technical barriers. Technical barriers mainly mean product quality certification and ISO9000 quality system. Especially, certification is the main way to eliminate trade barriers as the tariff barriers has been mutually excluded from the Member States of the World Trade Organization.

3. Save the energy and costs of second party audit
In modern trade practice, the second party audit has become a tradition. However, there are disadvantages. On the other hand, second party audits bring a heavy burden to supply-side, for one supply-side usually has a number of demand-side. On the other hand, demand-side also needs to pay the cost and consider the experience and competence level of their staffs. ISO9000 certification is the only way to solve these problems. Because a number of second party audits become unnecessary when the manufacturing enterprises apply and pass the third-party certification of ISO9000. In addition, if the enterprises re-apply for UL, CE and other products quality certification after obtaining the ISO9000 certification, repeat certification expenditure shall be exempted.

4. Remain forever invincible position in product quality competition
The primary methods of international trade competition are price competition and quality competition. Due to the negative impact of profits sharp drop and dumping, price competition is undesirable. Since the 70s, quality competition has become the major method of international trade competition. High quality requirements of imported goods have become important measures of trade protectionism in many countries. Therefore, the implementation of ISO9000 international quality management standard can improve the product quality of enterprise steadily and remain forever in invincible position in product quality competition.

5. Avoid product responsibility
In the practice of the implementation of product quality law, the product quality complaints are more frequent and the accident reasons are more complicated, which have make the role of product responsibility more and more important. In recent years, developed countries turn the "negligence" into "strict liability" legal principle, which greatly improves the safety requirements of manufacturer. For example, a worker is wounded when he operates a machine. According to "strict liability" legal principle, the court not only checks the quality problems of mechanical failure, but also examine whether there are safety devices, warning devices, etc. Any problems mentioned above cause a liable the judgment. However, the factory can avoid the compensation if the owners are able to provide ISO9000 quality system certification certificate. Or else, the enterprise shall lose and be subject to heavy penalties.

6. In favor of international economic cooperation and technical exchanges
In accordance with the tradition of international economic cooperation and technical exchanges, cooperation and exchanges must be established on the basis of uniform language, understanding and criterion on product (including services) quality. ISO9000 Quality System Certification provides such a trust and helps both sides reach an agreement quickly.
